Brad Karow’s unique drumming style is a result of years of performing experience and a real knowledge and appreciation of blues styles. His influences are consistently acknowledged in his playing as his style pays tribute to his idols: Fred Below, Odie Payne, Al Duncan, and Earl Phillips. Before putting his energies into playing blues, Karow, a native of Inglewood, California, worked throughout the 80’s with a variety of bands. For the last nine years, Brad has become a staple in the Southern California Blues scene. Karow’s dynamic and aggressive playing has won him much praise and his talents have been featured with such well known blues artists as: Kim Wilson, Ronnie Earl, Big Jay McNeely, Ray Gaines, Smokey Wilson, James Harmon, Tomcat Courtney, and The Rhumboogies |
